Try some acting with the Strolling Players
FREDDIE KISSOON, Director of the Strolling Players, will conduct a lecture-demonstration at the Cedros R.C. Church tomorrow at 7.30 p.m.
In the first part of the programme, members of the audience will be invited to come forward and perform impromptu with the actors from the Strolling Players.
Kissoon will give suggestions and participants will create the characters, dialogue and develop the plot spontaneously.
PROGRAMME
Actors from the Strolling Players will be Stafford Alexander, Agnes Howell, Harry Paul Singh, Victor Audain and Judith Nelson.
[Second piece]
In the second part of the programme, these players will appear in the hilarious comedy — "Like Hog Love Mud" — which has been seen twice on television and has staged [as printed] more than thirty times.
Fr. Pascall, parish priest of Cedros, has offered the church for the performance and will officiate at the proceedings.
The programme is presented by the Ministry of Education and Culture. Similar programmes have already been presented at Arouca and Princes Town. Next stop will be California.
